Counseling for Women in Asheville, NC

Hi, I’m Kat. I’m a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in Asheville, and I work with women and teen girls ages 14 to 40.

Who I work with

You might be here because life feels heavy right now. Maybe you feel lost and unsure of who you are or how you should be. Women and teen girls often come to me with things like:

  • Low self-esteem
  • Trying to figure out who you really are
  • Relationships with less-than-stellar partners
  • Trying to please everyone

I understand these because I’ve been there. I worked through my own stuff, and I’m here on the other side of it, happy and healthy. You will make it through too.

What counseling with me is like

This is real work, and I can’t and won’t do it for you. I will be your support and your compass along the way. Some of our talks will be deep and some will be fun. Therapy isn’t all “tell me about your problems.” It can be light and relaxing, and it is always genuine.

In my office there’s a big, comfy seat where you can kick off your shoes, curl up your legs and chat awhile. I’m also trained in EMDR.

  • Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) #6934
